Personal
In his first international meet, Lucas McCrory won a silver medal and three bronze medals at the 2014 U.S. Pan Pacific Para-Swimming Championship in Pasadena, California. He is a three time U.S. Paralympic Emerging team member and five time Pan Pacific Championship medalist. He attends Guilford College where he currently studies sport science and management. McCrory is an avid sports fan and enjoys fishing, hiking and cooking. His pre-meet ritual includes listening to classical music for relaxation before a swim. McCrory’s older brother Nick has also been involved with the Olympic movement, winning an Olympic medal in diving.
