Personal:
Carron and U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey teammate Nikko Landeros began their careers in Paralympic sport together after being injured in the same accident. The two were close friends and teammates on the Berthoud High School wrestling team. As high school juniors on the way home from a school dance, Carron and Landeros were changing a tire when they were struck by a vehicle and pinned between two SUVs. As a result, both Carron and Landeros became bilateral amputees. Landeros, who had played hockey for much of his life, encouraged Carron to try sled hockey, and the two were soon teammates once again. He made his first U.S. National Junior Sled Hockey Team in 2009 and his first U.S. National Sled Hockey Team in 2010....Son of Bruce and Cherie Carron…Has two brothers, Kyle and William…Hobbies include golfing and boating…Most influential person is his teammate Nikko Landeros…His idol is American football player Peyton Manning and U.S. mixed martial artist Chuck Liddell…Competed in bodybuilding at the 2010 Warrior Classic.
