The most influential people in her athletic career are her college rowing coach Carol Bower, who taught her the sport and encouraged her national team aspirations....Has one brother, Billy…Her hobbies include baking, running, pole vaulting, baton twirling and playing softball…In high school, she was a drum majorette for the band and earned the Clifton High School Drum Majorette Award for Excellence in Performance…Her pre-race ritual is her “race day hair,” the braids she has worn for every race in her career…Most memorable sporting achievement is making the 2010 U.S. National Team…After rowing, she plans to study veterinary medicine.
