David Page competes in the 65kg weight class as a bilateral above the knee amputee. He got his start in powerlifting in high school. While he also competed in football and wrestling, his passion for powerlifting grew. He began lifting heavier and heavier weights and pushed himself in every training session. From there, he went on to compete in the Endeavor Games, which exposed him to tougher and tougher competition. Since then, he’s qualified for the U.S. team that competed in the 2014 world championships, the 2015 American Open Championships and the 2015 Parapan American Games. Page hopes his next stop will be Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
