Personal
Bryce Segura continues to improve in the sport of powerlifting. In only his second year of competition, he broke the national junior powerlifting 205 pound record with a lift of 225 pounds on the first attempt in the 56kg weight class. Segura has refused to let cerebral palsy get in the way of accomplishing any of the goals that he has set for himself. Besides powerlifting, Segura is also a promising track and field athlete, a sport he’s shelved so he can focus his efforts on powerlifting and his college studies. Segura attends Louisiana State University, where he is majoring in mechanical engineering. He also has a spot on the LSU powerlifting team.
