MEDIA ADVISORY: U.S. Olympic Team Processing Media Days Set for Feb. 8 & 10; Credential Requests Now Being Accepted
The USOC announced today that media days for the 2010 U.S. Olympic Team’s Team Processing will take place on Monday, Feb. 8, and Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 3-7 p.m. Credentials are required for media wishing to attend.

U.S. Olympic Foundation Awards $9.7 Million Grant to U.S. Olympic Committee
The U.S. Olympic Foundation awarded $9.7 million to the U.S. Olympic Committee Wednesday as its annual grant for 2010. That brings the total sum of grants awarded by the USOF to the USOC and its member organizations to $244.6 million since 1986.

USOC Disappointed by Ambush Marketing, Negative Impact on Olympians
The USOC is actively responding to the tactics of a small number of U.S. businesses which are employing ambush marketing tactics in an effort to associate with the Olympic Winter Games and the U.S. Olympic Team. Throughout the world, the Olympic marks are used to generate revenue to support the Olympic Movement. By attempting to create a false association with the Olympic Games, companies using ambush marketing harm the interest and endeavors of athletes.
