COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Maame Biney, Nathan Chen, Lindsey Vonn and David Wise will join host Jeremy Bloom on Friday (Jan. 26) for the United States Olympic Committee’s announcement of the 2018 U.S. Olympic Team. The show will stream live at 11 a.m. MT on Team USA’s Facebook channel.

The announcement will be headlined by soon-to-be four-time Olympic alpine skier Vonn, who recently won her record 79th world cup race and will be looking to return to the podium after winning the downhill title at the Olympic Winter Games Vancouver 2010. Joining her is freestyle skier Wise, who topped the halfpipe podium in Sochi in his and the event’s Olympic debut.

Meanwhile, 17-year old short track speedskater Maame Biney will be making history as she competes in her first Olympics as the first African-American woman to qualify for a U.S. speedskating team. Finally, Nathan Chen is making his Olympic debut as a favorite for the gold medal in men’s figure skating using his record-breaking quad jumps.

Serving as host, Bloom is a two-time Olympic freestyle skier who also played for the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers. He is also the CEO of Integrate, and is an accomplished author and philanthropist.

Team USA will compete from Feb. 8-25 at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, which will air on the networks of NBCUniversal.
