The ACE Business Startup Workshop is a 2-day program ideal for Team USA athletes who are developing new business ventures and looking for tools to successfully launch and grow their companies. This year’s program will feature two sessions – Session 1 for athletes developing a business concept and Session 2 for athletes who have recently launched a business venture. Both workshop sessions will take place in San Diego, CA and are facilitated by ACE supporters Liz and Eric Gasser.



Applications for both sessions of the 2019 Business Startup Workshop are closed. Final selections will be announced late September. All accommodations including hotel, food, flights and other transportation will be covered by the ACE program.


Session 1: October 21 (all day)

  • Ideal for athletes developing a business concept
  • Begins morning of October 21
  • Workshop topics include building business blueprints, foundations for success and more
  • Maximum of 10 spots available

Session 2: October 21 - 23

  • Ideal for athletes who have recently launched a business venture
  • Begins with a welcome reception on the evening of October 21 and concludes evening of October 23
  • Workshop topics include validating market opportunities, mapping finance options and fireside chats with industry leaders
  • Maximum of 10 spots available

  • Sign up to access a free-to-use online course on entrepreneurship
