ACE Pivot Program

Pivot is an athlete workshop aiming to provide Team USA athletes with tools, techniques, and support to help maximize their performance in life beyond elite athletic competition. Facilitated by sports psychologists and professional career transition specialists, groups of up to 16 athletes are guided through a day-and-half workshop, followed by monthly video conference sessions.

Athlete Career Coaching

If you are exploring life beyond competitive sport or don’t know where to start post-retirement, ACE career coaches are available and understand the challenges you will face.  Comprised of world championship competitors and NCAA Division I athletes, career coaches work with you 1:1 to guide you to a successful transition out of elite sport competition and to achieve your goals beyond sport.  Contact ACE Career Coach Terris Tiller at to start building your plan for life beyond competitive sport.

Career Development

ACE offers support to Team USA athletes, helping develop their professional skills for a future career. Connect with ACE career coaches for one-on-one guidance, job search and application help (including assistance with resumes, cover letters, interviews, and "thank you" letters), and links to potential jobs and job recruiters.

ACE athletes are eligible for full tuition scholarships through USOPC sponsor DeVry University. Athletes can complete their undergraduate education or explore graduate degree programs through Keller Graduate School of Management. To find a program for you, learn more by visiting

USOPC | ACE Tuition Grants

ACE awards over $100,000 annually to Team USA athletes for education in the form of tuition grants. Grant applications are made available every spring and fall on the tuition grants webpage. Retired Olympians and Paralympians are eligible for grant awards, regardless of when they last competed.
