About The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Assembly

The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Assembly - an annual meeting of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic community - was initiated in 2005 to give a voice to the various member organizations of the USOPC, to keep dialogue open between members, staff and volunteer leadership and help to further the Olympic and Paralympic movements in the United States.

In addition to a USOPC board of directors meeting, the two-day program typically includes town hall meetings, joint sessions of USOPC constituent councils, panel discussions and a general address from the organization’s CEO and chair. In addition, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Assembly Awards honors individuals and programs that have made an impact in their communities.
