Without a National Governing Body for skateboarding, the USOPC assumes oversight on an interim basis of the skateboarding high-performance program in the U.S.
As part of that oversight, the USOPC is responsible for ensuring the fair selection of skateboarders and teams for USOPC delegation events, including the Olympic Games and Pan American Games. The USOPC will remain in that role until an organization has been identified to assume that responsibility as an NGB. The USOPC is prepared to identify support and education to inform the skateboarding community leading into the Olympic program.
