The month of November in the United States marks the celebration of Native American Heritage Month. As part of USA Wrestling’s celebration, Taylor Miller sat down with storied amateur and professional wrestler Gerald Brisco.
Brisco, a member of the Chickasaw nation and an inductee into its Hall of Fame, competed collegiately at Oklahoma State and soon after followed his brother, Jack, into the professional wrestling world, where they became a famed tag team, the Brisco Brothers. Gerald went on to become a crucial part in the inception and growth of the WWE, recruiting stars such as Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar, among many others.
