There's something exciting coming out the Pacific Northwest...

Through social media posts, the Beaver Dam Regional Training Center has been launched. Based in Corvallis, Ore. and connected to the Oregon State wrestling program, the Beaver Dam RTC will be a new brand to watch within wrestling.

Chris Pendleton, the President of the Dam RTC and the new head wrestling coach at Oregon State, had one word to say via Twitter today: "BOOM"

The staff includes Chris Pendleton as President, Mike Kosoy as COO, Nate Engel and Isaiah Martinez as RTC coaches.

Martinez, a two-time NCAA champion and four-time NCAA finalist at Illinois, who is currently No. 2 on the Freestyle National Team at 74 kg in men's freestyle, is one of the athletes with the Beaver Dam RTC. Kosoy, who wrestled at NC State, a Dave Schultz Memorial Champion and three-time U.S. Open placewinner at heavyweight in men's freestyle, is another Beaver Dam RTC athlete.

According to its website,

"The Dam RTC is committed to the development of athletes and personal growth through wrestling. We provide mentorship, opportunity, and resources to reach youth, collegiate, and senior-level athletes aspiring to be leaders on and off the mat. Our current goals are to:
* Support multiple Olympic hopefuls training for Tokyo 2021
* Provide positive and competetive opportunities for aspiring youth wrestlers
* Play an active role in our local community and the greater Pacific Northwest
