More USMC Junior/16U Nationals data for you. Today we’re combining team scores both overall and across the three different styles.

In Fargo, team points are scored solely off of All-Americans finishes. A wrestler earns eight points for a first-place finish, seven points for a second-place finish, and so on.

Below is a chart with the team scores from every state that had at least one All-American in Fargo.

While this isn’t an actual award, if an overall USMC Junior/16U Nationals team champion was awarded, Illinois would have won. With a total of 13 champions and 66 All-Americans across all six tournaments, Illinois had a total of 318 points. California was close behind with 295 total team points.
