Oklahoma RTC tweets that 2016 Olympian Frank Molinaro has joined their program

Tonight, The Oklahoma RTC, the Regional Training Center affiliated with the University of Oklahoma, announced that 2016 Olympic freestyle wrestler Frank Molinaro has joined their program.

Within the last week, Molinaro stepped down from his coaching position with Virginia Tech, and indicated he was leaving the Southeast RTC which is affiliated with that program.

The tweet posted by the Oklahoma RTC said the following:

Breaking news: 2016 Olympian Frank Molinaro @Gorillahulk149 has decided to bring his training to the Sooner State. The World Cup Champion has joined the #OKRTC #gOUsa @LouRosselli @wrestling @USAWrestling @OKUSAwrestling.

No other details on this are currently available.

A 2012 NCAA champion for Penn State, and current U.S. National Team member at 70 kg, Molinaro placed fifth at 65 kg at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games at 65 kg.
