USA Weightlifting Awards

For the following member nominated awards, the USA Weightlifting Hall of Fame Committee will select and review nominations from the Membership and forward their recommendations to the USA Weightlifting Board of Directors, who will select the winners. Performance based awards are given based off athlete placement at international events. 

Glenn Middleton

Youth National Championships Outstanding Team Award

This 1,000 cash award was made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donation made in Glenn’s name so that the work Glenn began to help the youth of American Weightlifting continue on.

Criteria:

  • Top combined team point scores for the men’s and women’s 16 & 17 year old division

Jennifer Roy Award

Recipients demonstrate leadership, support, and passion not only for their training but their teammates as well.

  • Outstanding achievements by athletes at national and international competition.

These awards will be given out following each session at the marshal table at the Youth National Championship
