Team USA Looking for Gold at Youth Pan Am Championships
Team USA is in the hunt for gold as some of the strongest youth athletes in America compete in the 2017 Youth Pan American Championships October 28-November 4 in Palmira, Colombia.
"We've selected a team that we think will do well against our friends in the Pan Am region," USA Weightlifting Associate Executive Director of Sport Lance Williams said. "We're excited to see these kids lifts and we hope they bring home a ton of medals."

Earlier this summer, the organizing committee moved the event from Cali, Colombia and pushed the competition back a week to compensate.
