USA Weightlifting Member and Baltimore Police Officer Patrick Curtis is credited with saving a man's life over the weekend.
Officer Curtis and partner William Caudle were on foot patrol near Pratt and Carey Streets last Saturday when they saw a man who appeared to have fallen out of a chair.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, had no heartbeat and was not breathing.
Officers Curtis and Caudle immediately began CPR and were able to get a heartbeat and get the man breathing again.
Paramedics arrived and took the man to a hospital for treatment.
Officer Curtis is a USA Weightlifting Certified Coach at Titan Barbell in Cockeysville and is a member of the Maryland/Potomac Valley Local Weightlifting Committee.
