COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- USA Weightlifting & BarBend.com have agreed a to quadrennial-long sponsorship agreement which will see BarBend.com viewers receive some exclusive content from USA Weightlifting , and will be collaborating on news and media items throughout the year.
BarBend launched in 2016 to cover strength sports including Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Strongman, Functional Fitness, and more. Since then, the Brooklyn, New York-based company has developed a loyal following in the strength sport community.
As part of the agreement, BarBend will also be assist with USA Weightlifting’s live webcasts. In 2017, USA Weightlifting will bring fans 8 domestic events, the Pan American Championships and the IWF World Championships. The webcasts, which were seen more than 300,000 times in 2016, are available for free at USAWeightlifting.org.
