First International Squads of 2017 Announced

USA Weightlifting is pleased to announce the first International Squads of 2017. USA Weightlifting named the following athletes to Team USA for the first three International Competitions of 2017.

"Each of these squads have some very competitive athletes internationally," Lance Williams, USA Weightlifting Associate Executive Director of Sport said. "I expect each of these teams to win many medals and compete for team titles. The future is bright for Team USA."

A selection committee chose the based on selection procedures instituted by USA Weightlifting. After further review of strategy for Team USA's success on the international stage, the committee added Juliette Chang-Fane to the Youth Worlds squad. USAW will announce the final team members The final team members will be announced closer to the competition date.
