Northeastern University and USA Weightlifting Partnership
Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies (CPS) and USA WEIGHTLIFTING have developed a Continuing Education Award through a formalized partnership to provide USA WEIGHTLIFTING athletes and coaches with the opportunity to pursue educational goals.
What Does the Award Entail?
- The amount of the award will equal 25% of the per credit tuition charge for the duration of a student’s program of study
- The award will be applied through to degree completion, with a maximum duration of eligibility equal to seven (7) years from initial enrollment into the program of study
What USA Weightlifting Athletes Qualify for the Award?
- USA Weightlifting Olympic Team Members
- Youth Olympic Team Member
- Pan Am Games Team Member
- World Team Member
- Junior World Team Member
- USAW International Elite for their age or above
- Current Level 2 USA Weightlifting Coaches
- Current Level 3 USA Weightlifting Coaches
- Current Level 4 USA Weightlifting Coaches
- Current Level 5 USA Weightlifting Coaches
