USAW Coach Education Black Community Scholarship Program

USA Weightlifting offers a limited number of tuition scholarships to qualified black coaches to attend either the Level 1 or Level 2 Coach Certification courses. The scholarship covers the tuition cost of the certifications as well as one year of USAW membership. Any travel-related or non-tuition expenses are not covered. Please click here if you would like to make a contribution to the USAW Coach Education Black Community Scholarship Fund.

There will be 10 full tuition scholarships available to be awarded annually to chosen applicants.

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis throughout the year. Awarded and remaining scholarships will appear on the USAW website. Applications for a certification course must be received 60 days prior to the start date of the course. Scholarship recipients will be notified within 30 days of the start of the certification course.
