Another Successful Adaptive Learn To Ski Clinic For Veterans

USA Water Ski & Wake Sports’ Adaptive Sports Grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs funded another successful adaptive learn to water ski clinic for veterans with disabilities on Saturday, June 18 at Lake of the Woods in Locust Grove, Virginia. The clinic was hosted by Lake of the Woods Adaptive Watersports Foundation, a USA Water Ski & Wake Sports member club. Veterans and service members along with their families were invited to the event. The clinic provided veterans and service members with various disabilities a chance to try water skiing and various other adaptive water activities in a fun and safe way.

U.S. To Host 2023 IWWF World Disabled Water Ski Championships

The International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation Executive Board has approved a bid from the Competitive and Recreational Disabled Skiers (C.A.R.D.S.), endorsed by USA Water Ski & Wake Sports, to host the 15th IWWF World Disabled Water Ski Championships, Sept. 11-17, 2023, at Shortline Lake in Elk Grove, Calif.

A Successful First Adaptive Learn To Ski Clinic For Veterans

USA Water Ski & Wake Sports held the first of 10 water ski clinics across the nation for veterans with disabilities on Saturday, May 14 at Lake Seminole in Pinellas County, Florida. The clinic was hosted in collaboration with Ann’s Angels Adaptive Waterski Foundation and the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa and funded through an Adaptive Sports Grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The clinic provided veterans and service members with various disabilities a fun and safe day out on the water.
