Dates & Locations Announced For 2023 Adaptive Learn To Ski Program

USA Water Ski & Wake Sports is pleased to announce five sites from across the United States that will host Learn to Ski Clinics this summer for veterans and individuals with disabilities. The 2023 Adaptive Learn To Ski Program, presented by S-Lines, will take place at sites in California, Florida, South Carolina and Virginia between June 10 and Aug. 19.

Smith Wins 2023 Lake 38 Pro-Am

U.S. water ski athlete Nate Smith (McCordsville, Ind.) and Canada’s Whitney McClintock won the men’s and women’s slalom titles, respectively, at the 2023 Lake 38 Pro-Am, June 3-4, at Lake 38 in Quincy, Fla. Some of the world’s top professional slalom skiers competed in the fifth annual event.

U.S. water ski athletes Regina Jaquess (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.), Erika Lang (Gilbert, Ariz.), Nate Smith (McCordsville, Ind.) and Hanna Straltsova (Zachary, La.) won titles in respective events at the 63rd Nautique Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament, presented by GM Marine, May 27-28, at Callaway Gardens’ Robin Lake in Pine Mountain, Ga.

U.S. water ski athlete Erika Lang (Gilbert, Ariz.) set a pending women’s world tricks record of 11,360 points on May 19 at the 2023 Sunset Cup-MLCQ at Jack Travers’ International Tournament Skiing and Sunset Lakes in Groveland, Fla.

AWSA IAC Seeks Officials For 2023 35+ Pan Am Championships

On or after June 1, 2023, the AWSA International Activities Committee (IAC) will nominate officials for the 2023 35+ Pan American Championships. To be considered for any of the listed positions at this, you MUST COMPLETE AND RETURN THIS FORM (EMAIL IS PREFERRED) NOT LATER THAN May 29, 2023. The IAC will make its recommended nominations to the AWSA Board, which will finalize the nominations. All persons having responded to this notice will be informed of the Board’s final nominations.
