Action Water Sports and MasterCraft Boat Company are excited to announce the 2020 MasterCraft Pro water ski tournament to be held Oct. 23-24 at Action Water Sports’ Lake Grew in Polk City, Fla. The world-record capability cash-prize event will feature some of the world’s top men’s and women’s professional slalom skiers and men’s professional jumpers.
The tournament begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23 with preliminary round action in men’s slalom, women’s slalom and men’s jumping, followed by a men’s jumping Last Chance Qualifier. Action also begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24 with women’s slalom semifinals, men’s slalom semifinals, women’s slalom finals (six competitors), men’s slalom finals (six competitors) and men’s jumping finals (six competitors).
A live webcast will be available both days on The WaterSki Broadcasting Company YouTube channel and live scoring also will be available on the web. The event also is open to the public with no cost of entry and free parking. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, courtesy of Fillin’ Good food truck. All local, state, and CDC Covid-19 guidelines will be encouraged and adhered to. Action Water Sports is located at 1251 Holy Cow Road, Polk City, FL 33868.
The event will be powered by the record-setting MasterCraft ProStar, which was recently completely redesigned for the 2021 model year. The latest iteration includes advanced technology, which allows for thoughtfully integrated features that cater not just to the skier behind the boat, but to the driver and crew as well.
