Jaquess Wins Swiss Pro Slalom For Sixth Consecutive Time

U.S. water ski athlete Regina Jaquess (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) won the the Swiss Pro Slalom for the sixth consecutive year on Sunday at the Swiss Waterski Resort in Clermont, Fla. Some of the world’s top men’s and women’s professional slalom skiers competed in the cash-prize tournament.

Jaquess scored 3 buoys at 41 feet off in the finals to clinch the women's title. France's Manon Costard (4 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off), Canada's Jaimee Bull (3 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off) and U.S. athlete Allie Nicholson (1/2 buoy at 39-1/2 feet off) of Gallatin, Tenn., rounded out the top-four placements.

Great Britain's Freddie Winter won men's slalom, scoring 5 buoys at 41 feet off in the finals. U.S. athlete Nate Smith (Winter Garden, Fla.) placed second with 4-1/2 buoys at 41 feet off.

The event featured a live webcast produced by The WaterSki Broadcasting Company and live scoring.
