USA Adaptive Water Ski & Wake Sports has decided to postpone the 26th Barbara Bolding/Jim Grew Fund Adaptive Water Ski National Championships and team trials that were scheduled for September 2020.
The decision made by the board of directors was not easy; but, as an organization, it decided it was best to put the health and safety of the athletes as its priority.
USA Adaptive Water Ski & Wake Sports is already working on plans to host the tournament and team selection in late June or early July of 2021. This will allow ample time for training for those athletes selected to ski for the USA Adaptive Water Ski Team at the 2022 Disabled Water Ski World Championships in Bridgewater, Australia.
The 26th Barbara Bolding/Jim Grew Fund USA Adaptive Water Ski National Championships will be hosted by the Kentucky Lake Ski Nuts at Twin Oaks Lakes in Paducah, Ky., the same site it was to be held in September. USA Adaptive Water Ski & Wake Sports is appreciative of the continued support from the Barbara Bolding/Jim Grew Fund, the Kentucky Lake Ski Nuts, and Twin Oaks Lakes.
