NCWSA Announces 2020 Hall Of Fame Inductees

The National Collegiate Water Ski Association, one of nine sport discipline organizations of USA Water Ski & Wake Sports, has announced that Jimmy Siemers, Ed and Carole Walker, and Phil Chase will be the 2020 inductees into the NCWSA Hall of Fame. That was one of several announcements following the NCWSA’s annual mid-winter board of directors meeting on Jan. 24 in Auburndale, Fla.

In other news:

* The 2021 Collegiate All-Stars Water Ski Championships has been awarded to Laku Landing in Windsor, Colo.

* The 2021 Collegiate Water Ski National Championships has been awarded to Bennett’s Ski School in Zachary, La.

* David Huisman will be the team manager and Sam Greenwood will be the coach for the U.S. Team at the 2020 FISU Worlds.

* The NCWSA will now accept a one-time transfer for students without sitting out the fall season.

* All four NCWSA officer positions were up for election at the 2020 NCWSA board of directors meeting. Three of the four – Jeff Surdej, Christy Kingsmill and Adam Koehler –were re-elected, and Kate Lambert was elected as the new NCWSA Treasurer.
