About Us

The year 2015 marked the 33rd year anniversary of the Northern California Volleyball Association (NCVA) services Northern California from the Oregon border to Bakersfield including Northern Nevada. We offer a variety of opportunities for every athlete, no matter age or background, to play volleyball. Our largest and most competitive leagues are our Boys Power League and Girls Power League, which produce some of the top teams at the USAV Junior National Championship level year after year. In addition to Power League, we offer Girls Premier League, Youth League, Girls Non-Leagues, Boys Non-Leagues, Boys National Level tournaments, and Girls National Level tournaments.

In our continuing effort to provide the opportunity to play high level volleyball, we participate in the USA Volleyball High Performance Program, including both indoor and outdoor. We put together girls and boys regional teams to participate in the USAV High Performance Championship Tournament and the European Global Challenge Tournament, where they have the opportunity to play against many foreign teams. Click here for more information about our NCVA HP Indoor Program and NCVA HP Beach Program.

The USA PVL is a grass roots professional volleyball league that is sanctioned by USA Volleyball and started in 2013 for men’s and 2012 for women’s. Teams from among the (40) regional volleyball associations across the U.S. are eligible to participate in this league. On our website you will find information regarding both NCVA’s professional Men’s, and Women’s team, known as the Dream Team, and NorCal Premier.

NCVA offers several special tournaments during every season.  These 2 and 3 day events take place in modern convention centers, information can be found here.

NCVA also provides the opportunity to participate in Beach volleyball during the summer.
