USA Future Select National Training Program (Commuter Program)

The USA Girls Future Select National Training Program is an elite training program available to high potential young volleyball players as an opportunity to advance in the U.S. National Team Pipeline. The training received is modeled after the techniques, systems, and daily practices of our U.S. Women’s National Team. This training program is a multi-day, commuter training program available to the youngest athletes in the High Performance pipeline.

In addition to the training and competition within the program, athletes will receive instruction in volleyball-specific classroom sessions provided during lunch breaks. High Performance coaching staff will provide a comprehensive athlete evaluation to USA Volleyball for tracking in the Pipeline, those evaluations will also be provided to each athlete following training.

Dates: July 31-August 4, 2019 (5 days, 4 nights)

Location: Alliance Training Center (Franklin, Tenn.)

Cost: $550

Lodging: Athletes will be traveling and staying with their own families. Athletes will check in and out of training daily. Information for a discounted hotel block will be provided.

Meals: Lunch will be provided to the athletes during day 2, 3 and 4. (Aug 1-3)

Travel: Nearest airport is Nashville International Airport (BNA). Athletes and families are responsible for all travel to and from the training location and airport. Arrival on the first day of the program should be between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. for check-in and gear distribution; training to follow. On the last day of the program, athletes will train in the morning until approximately 11 a.m. and then be released. A daily schedule of training times will be provided to athletes closer to the event in a final logistical email. 

Parents and Families: All expenses are the players' responsibility including lodging, transportation, meals and snacks. HP staff will assume daily responsibility for all athletes checked in for training and classroom hours until they check out for the day. All training sessions are open to view, and parents are welcome to attend the tournament as spectators.

The USA Girls Future Select National Skills Program is an advanced training program available to young volleyball players. The training received is modeled after the techniques, systems, and daily practices of our U.S. Women’s National Team. This program is a multi-day, commuter training program available to the youngest athletes in the High Performance pipeline.
