The team made two roster changes for Cannes, bringing middle blocker Taylor Averill in for Jeff Jendryk and adding libero Larry Tuileta for Kyle Dagostino.

U.S. Men’s Head Coach John Speraw has appreciated having a chance to see younger players in action and giving veterans a rest without worrying about qualifying for the VNL Finals. The U.S. will host the finals on July 10-14 in Chicago.

“Our record isn't where we want it, but it's been a very productive two weeks,” Speraw said after the team went 1-2 last weekend in Warsaw. “Looking forward to Cannes and continuing to improve and grow as a team."

Outside hitter T.J. DeFalco and opposite Ben Patch lead the U.S. in scoring with 57 points each. Patch is third among all VNL attackers with a 55.21 success percentage.

Middle blocker Mitch Stahl is sixth among all blockers with an average of .52 per set. DeFalco is 10th in aces with an average of .3 per set.
