Anna Collier has been a driving force in the coaching aspect of beach volleyball, first within the international game and now leading the next generation.

Collier has coached beach volleyball since 1990. She mentored the beach team of Holly McPeak and Nancy Reno at 1996 Olympic Games – the first with beach volleyball. Anna has also coached the likes of Kerri Walsh Jennings, Misty May-Treanor and Nicole Branagh.

Collier has been a major part of the USA Volleyball Beach High Performance pipeline, particularly at the World University Games since 2010. She also led an American duo to gold at the 2012 World University Games.

Heading into the 2018 collegiate beach season, Collier led University of Southern California to a 146-18 overall record in six seasons – including three consecutive national championships.
