Attendees will gain access to a unique and valuable opportunity to observe and interact with staff in a world-leading talent transfer program that has discovered and nurtured an Olympic Gold medalist and a number of WTS winners and top ITU athletes. Details will include, among many others, what the required qualifying standards are to be placed in a pipeline designed to meet and exceed the demands of competition; approaches on transferring elite single-sport endurance athletes into the high skills demand world of elite draft-legal triathlon and the steps, skills and processes involved in adapting to the lifestyle and demands of the elite triathlete. This is an incredible opportunity to observe and learn firsthand from numerous experts not just lecturing or teaching, but actually executing the processes that precede selection and inclusion into a world class Daily Performance Environment.

While details are still being finalized, including specific dates of the program, all applicants should plan on being available for the majority of that time frame.Coaches who are accepted into this program will be required to attend a multi-day program at the United States Olympic Training Center. Each participant is responsible for paying for their own travel, lodging and food expenses. USAT will secure lodging and meals at the USOC (for an additional fee for participants). 

Continuing Education Credit 

USAT Certified Coaches who are selected for the Elite Coaching Mentorship Program and complete the program are awarded 15 USAT CEUs upon completion of a program survey.

Application Process 

Being selected does not require a coach to participate. The fee to participate in this program is $495 and will be paid when selected.
