About the WCCTC

The West Coast Collegiate Triathlon Conference (WCCTC), founded in 2005, is an association of the colleges and universities within the USA Triathlon’s Southwest Region of the United States, which is comprised of the states of California, Nevada and Arizona. The WCCTC is recognized as the governing body for the sport of collegiate triathlon for all schools within California, as well as member schools in the states of Nevada and Arizona. WCCTC management is located in Santa Barbara, CA.

Mission Statement

"The mission of the West Coast Collegiate Triathlon Conference is to administer, develop and promote collegiate triathlon within California, western Nevada and western Arizona.  The WCCTC shall annually determine team and individual Conference Champions, and shall pursue a leadership role regionally and nationally to foster the growth of collegiate triathlon."

To achieve this, the MACTC shall:

  • Establish membership policy and certify clubs and athletes as members
  • Appoint a Conference Director
  • Facilitate a yearly Conference Championship event
  • Pursue financial support for its mission and its members
  • Foster communication with other collegiate triathlon teams and conferences
