About the NWCTC

The Northwest Collegiate Triathlon Conference (NWCTC), founded in 2011, is an association of the colleges and universities within the USA Triathlon’s Northwest Region of the United States, which is comprised of the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. The NWCTC is recognized as the governing body for the sport of collegiate triathlon for all schools in the previously defined area. NWCTC management is located in Corvallis, OR.

Mission Statement

"The mission of the Northwest Collegiate Triathlon Conference is to develop, promote, and administer the sport of collegiate triathlon within the institutions which it governs. The NWCTC shall determine team and individual Conference Champions, and shall pursue a leadership role regionally and nationally to foster the growth of collegiate triathlon."

  • To achieve this the NWCTC shall:
  • Establish a membership policy and certify clubs and athletes as members
  • Appoint a Conference Director
  • Facilitate a yearly Conference Championship event
  • Pursue financial support to benefit its mission and members
  • Foster communication with other collegiate triathlon teams and conferences
