Most memorable moment in your multisport career: The most memorable moment would have to be at the USAT Sprint Distance Nationals in Omaha where I qualified for Team USA. I'll never forget running out of T2 and seeing my teammates going nuts, screaming that I was in the top 15 of my Age Group. I gave that run everything I had and wound up coming in the top 10 in my Age Group, earning a slot on Team USA. Seeing my name on the wall at the awards ceremony was truly a moment I'll never forget. My goal ever since I was a little swimmer had always been to represent the USA at the Olympics or an International race. I had participated in various national swimming races, but had never earned the opportunity to race on the international level. Here was my second chance, and after 23 years of hard work, determination and adaptation, my dream had finally come true.
