Lindsay Cheatham

About Lindsay: I started out as a young girl dancing, continuing through college, and any type of sport didn’t mesh with my body at all.  In college I was diagnosed with scoliosis and stumbled upon pilates as my last resort to alleviate my pain and maintain a somewhat normal active life. I slowly incorporated running back into my life and decided to try something new for my non-athletic body - a sprint triathlon!  Flash forward a few seasons later, and I was hitting the podium and sharing my stories at work as a health and fitness specialist. I’ve motivated many of my clients to TRI and see what my addition is all about.

Sport Discipline: Triathlon

Most memorable moment in your multisport career: Crossing the finish line at Worlds with my little American flag in hand and a smile on my face (I never smile at the finish line) while my husband waited for me after he had crossed the finish line hours prior to me. I’ve never had so many emotions in one race than that day. It was a windy, tough, extra-long swim, it rained some on the bike with normal Oklahoma winds, and the run seemed to go on forever.  I wanted it all to be over, but at the same time, I wanted to capture the moment as long as possible!
