Alisa Wise

About Alisa: I am a mother to four boys and grandmother to three! The thrill of competition, the drive to become my best self, the joy of movement and overcoming is what drives me. My sports career began in track and field where I competed since I was twelve years old, continued into collegiate track and field, continued on to running post-collegiately, then eventually found multi-sport and haven't looked back! I have coached track and field for over 25 years and took that passion into triathlon. I love sport and I especially love promoting sport and fitness and helping others accomplish things they once only were curious about.

Sport Discipline: Triathlon

Most memorable moment in your multisport career: My most memorable event in triathlon was the opportunity to wear USA across my chest in the ITU World Age Group Championships in Rotterdam. The swim course was cold, the bike course was technical and draft-legal, and the run was gorgeous. Meeting amazing athletes from across the world and coming together for one purpose was magical. My goal was to enjoy the entire race and finish with a smile on my face regardless of the outcomes, and I succeeded at that goal! It was truly the most rewarding, exciting, energizing and incredible event I have ever participated in!
