Toyota Resident Team Program

USA Paratriathlon is continuing the Resident Team Program at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center (CSOTC) beginning on January 7th, 2022 with continuance through the 2024
Paralympic Games.

Athletes will reside in dormitories at the CSOPTC or off campus at their own expense. 

Primary benefits of the program include but are not limited to: 

  • CSOPTC facility access
  • meals on campus
  • housing on campus
  • daily coached session
  • group training as appropriate
  • sport science testing
  • sports psychology sessions
  • nutritional counseling
  • community outreach  
  • media training  

Specific training and competition will be tailored to individual athletes’ needs while utilizing the daily training environment to maximize group synergy as much as is practical.  Coached sessions will include multiple swim, bike, run, and strength sessions per week.

2022 Application Timeline

  • October 1, 2021 - Application period begins
  • October, 18, 2021 - All applications are due to the Paratriathlon Director (Amanda.Duke@usatriathlon.org)
  • Week of November 8, 2021 - Applicants will be notified of their status/acceptance into the Resident Program
  • January 7, 2022 - Resident Team Program move-in day
  • January 10, 2022 - First day of training at the OPTC
