UPDATE (May 21, 2015): The application deadline for the USA Triathlon Women’s Committee grant has been extended until Monday, June 1, 2015, giving more time to take advantage of this opportunity to support a women-specific triathlon program. Winners will be announced on June 22, 2015.
The USA Triathlon Women's Committee is pleased to announce the 2015 Matching Reimbursable Grant Program is open for submissions. The grant program, which has grown in the past few years to support more opportunities for female triathletes, will be awarding THREE (3) matching, reimbursable $2,000 grants to programs that are directly involved with women in the sport of triathlon.
Interested applicants can download and complete the grant application form by clicking here before the end of the business day on May 1, 2015. Applications will be reviewed and winners announced May 29, 2015. In 2014, the Women’s Committee awarded three grants to ACHIEVE Kids Tri in Washington, D.C., Dare2Tri Paratriathlon in Chicago, Ill., and KidzTri3 in Quakertown, Pa.

The USA Triathlon Women’s Committee is focused on creating a resource for female athletes of all levels and socioeconomic backgrounds by mentoring professional growth for women in the sport of triathlon. The Women’s Committee is concentrating on the quality of training as well as opportunities available for women in positions of authority and decision-making within associations that govern the sport.
