Check out the most memorable images of U.S. age-group triathletes in 2021 as the world safety returned to "normal" racing after the 2020 COVID year. Nearly 6,000 athletes were welcomed to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships. It was a great weekend of racing! 

Milwaukee, Wisconsin will also host the 2022 USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships. We can't wait to held back!

The Mixed Relay podium winners pose for a group selfie at the 2021 Zone3 USA Triathlon Youth & Junior Nationals in West Chester in August. The MMTT Sammy’s Gold team, made up of Naomi Ruff (West Chicago, Ill.), Ben DeWeerdt (Hoffman Estates, Ill.), Clara James-Heer (Grand Rapids, Mich.) and Braxton Bokos (Oak Brook, Ill.), covered the course in a combined time of 1 hour, 10 minutes, 44 seconds to win gold. 

Drew Shellenberger (Tempe, Ariz.) captured the men’s junior elite title at the 2021 Zone3 USA Triathlon Youth & Junior Nationals, held at Voice of America Park in West Chester, Ohio. 

More than 1,000 youth triathletes ages 7-19 raced at Voice of America Park at the USA Triathlon Junior Nationals. The weekend also featured the draft-legal Junior Elite Nationals for high performance athletes ages 16-19 and draft-legal Youth Elite Nationals for athletes ages 13-15. It was the ninth year, returning for the first time since 2019 after the 2020 event was canceled due to COVID-19. 

Team Maloy wins the relay division at the 2021 Toyota Legacy Triathlon held in Long Beach, California in July.

University of California-Berkeley's Bear Schickel won the men's national title at the 2021 USA Triathlon Collegiate Club National Championships, held as part of the iconic Malibu Triathlon.

About 400 collegiate athletes from more than 20 club teams competed in the marquee event of Collegiate Club Nationals weekend. The Olympic-distance course was centered at Zuma Beach and featured a 1,500-meter swim, 41-kilometer bike and 10-kilometer run.

University of California-San Diego's Marissa Saenger won the women's national title at the 2021 USA Triathlon Collegiate Club National Championships, held as part of the iconic Malibu Triathlon.

As part of the 2021 Sun Devil Draft Legal Classic Triathlon held in Tempe, Arizona, the 2021 Draft-Legal Triathlon National Championships welcomed nearly 300 athletes to the start line. 

The USA Triathlon Duathlon National Championships in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, saw Alex Arman claim the overall Standard-Distance title.

It is never to early to start triathlon! Athletes as young as seven years old competed at the Youth National Championships this year. 

Age group athletes enjoyed the wetsuit swim at IRONMAN Chattanooga.

That finishing feeling is the best ever! An age-group athletes celebrates at the finish line at IRONMAN Wisconsin.  

Kira Gupta Baltzar of the University of San Francisco won the overall Division I race at the Women's Collegiate National Championships held in Tempe, Arizona.

It was a thrilling weekend of racing in Tempe, Arizona for the Women's Collegiate National Championships. Arizona State won the National Title for the Division I category.
