COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Triathlon today announced it has partnered with Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, the leading nationwide massage and facial spa services provider, through 2021.

USA Triathlon annual members will receive $10 off all Hand & Stone massage or facial services as part of their membership packets, redeemable at any of Hand & Stone’s over 400 locations across the U.S. Members will also have access to best-possible pricing and select promotions throughout the year.

Hand & Stone will sponsor the official Recovery Zone at USA Triathlon’s four owned National Championships — Duathlon, Collegiate Club & High School, Youth & Junior and Toyota Age Group (sprint and Olympic-distance) — as well as the Legacy Triathlon. In the Recovery Zone, athletes may receive complimentary pre- and post-race massages and learn from experts about the importance of recovery and massage therapy to performance.

“We are very excited about our new partnership with USA Triathlon,” said Todd Leff, Hand & Stone President and CEO, as well as one of the nation’s top amateur multisport athletes in his age group. “Massage is a critical component of training for endurance athletes. It’s also an important part of an overall wellness lifestyle that USA Triathlon members embrace. Massage has been proven to reduce pain, prevent injury, encourage focus and shorten recovery time. As the exclusive massage and spa partner of USA Triathlon, we can help spread that message to the nationwide multisport community and help elite triathletes restore and recover as they train for the 2020 Olympics and Paralympics.”

“Training for three sports is challenging at all levels, and physical and mental recovery is critical for triathletes to reach their full potential,” said Chuck Menke, Chief Marketing Officer at USA Triathlon. “USA Triathlon is proud to partner with Hand & Stone to provide a recuperative experience at affordable prices, all while being accessible to a majority of USA Triathlon members via locations across the country.”

Hand & Stone services will also be made available to elite athletes in support of the lead-up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games by the U.S. National Team and Toyota U.S. Paratriathlon National Team.
