Erin Storie Appointed to Board of Directors

Erin JonesCOLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Elite triathlete Erin Storie (née Jones) was recently appointed to the USA Triathlon Board of Directors to serve as an Athlete Representative through the end of 2017. 

Erin Storie has competed as an elite triathlete since January 2013 and earned a bronze medal at the 2014 ITU Under-23 World Championships in Edmonton, Alberta. She also represented the U.S. at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. 

In addition to her racing career, Storie has served as a USA Triathlon volunteer as a representative on the Athlete Advisory Council (AAC). 

Prior to moving to Colorado Springs to become a resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic Training Center (OTC) and finish her final two years of college as part of USA Triathlon’s Elite Triathlon Academy, Storie competed in cross country and track and field for Oregon State University where she earned PAC-12 Division I All-Academic Honorable Mention honors for three years.
