Saw a jump in my swim speed this weekend. Coming out of a non-wetsuit swim just 3 seconds and four places down from the lead gave me a good position to take fourth overall and third in USA's #U23nationals today. So helpful to have coach @hutchisonjen and boyfriend @elliot_bassett keeping me going through the heat today! #kiwami #rideMBW #orbeaorca #hshiveathlete #usatriathlon #luckynumber7

2nd at @withoutlimitsco #boulderpeak triathlon, a hometown race. Rode to transition from home, got cheered on by my friends and rolled around the familiar Boulder roads with the same oxygen-deprived air that I'm used to. A slam dunk race. 👊 Congrats to @paula_findlay on the W and @kaisa.sali on 3rd. @aliciakayetri and @lesleyesmith (my selfless, volunteering friend) cashed checks, too. #womenwhotri #womenintriathlon #whoruntheworld that's right. #girls
In the men’s race, a trio of Boulder-based triathletes swept the podium on their home course. Cameron Dye took the overall win, with Rudy Von Berg a close second and Jason West completing the top-three.
So happy to come away with the win at my home town race the #boulderpeak today. It was extra special to race in front of my family and kids! Rode my butt off and hung on to the line!
