USA Triathlon Announces Joint Endurance Coaching Summit with TrainingPeaks and USA Cycling
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Triathlon, TrainingPeaks and USA Cycling announce the 2017 Endurance Coaching Summit (ECS) to be held on Aug. 3 and 4 at the University of Colorado Boulder. ECS will provide a unique blend of business and science topics for endurance coaches to expand their knowledge and learn new ways to grow their business.
In lieu of USA Triathlon’s annual Coaching Business Innovation Retreat, the organization has partnered with TrainingPeaks and USA Cycling on ECS to host a world-class list of presenters and offer valuable hands-on sessions for leaders in the endurance sports industry, in addition to the strategic agenda Coaching Business Innovation Retreat attendees have come to expect.
“The Endurance Coaching Summit has continued to evolve to meet the needs of endurance coaching across sport disciplines. ECS will cover the key challenges faced by today’s coaches to give them the tools needed to expand. Attendees will also gain practical insights into the latest research and science-based strategies.

The Summit will include daily small breakout sessions in partnership with the University of Colorado Sports Medicine and Performance Center. CUSMPC’s internationally renowned staff will give coaches insights on topics including cycling and running biomechanics, swim stroke analysis, physiological and metabolic testing, and sports nutrition using the most advanced sports performance technologies.
Coaches will also have the opportunity to network with some of the industry’s best coaches, brands and thought leaders. All USA Triathlon, USA Cycling, U.S. Track & Field, Cross Country Coaches Association Certified Coaches will earn CEUs for attending. USA Triathlon Certified Coaches can earn 12 USAT CEUs for attending this event in person or six USAT CEUs for the online summit.
