Got outkicked by dudes (sorry, Dad!) but still a good day! A win #USATAGNC to cap off hard work. @AltraRunning pic.twitter.com/gwROEY4gVp

Hey, I won a national championship so I'm allowed to eat more than one #cinnamonroll in a day, right?? How about 5?! (Plus the one I ate earlier makes 6 😅 Don't worry, I shared!) These mini cinnis for lunch were fantastic! From left to right: #caramelpecan, iced#cinnamon x 2, #orange (surprisingly good!), and #caramel. The #icing on the normal cinnis was out of this world! It was the lightest frosting I've ever had on a cinnamon roll, but still full of flavor. It was a mixture of #whippedcream and#powderedsugar. Melted in my mouth! The caramel pecan roll was amazing as well with #candiedpecans that added a great crunch. I normally don't like #pecans on my cinnamon rolls, but these may have changed my mind! #USATAGNC#nationalchampion #nationalchampionship#triathletefood #triathletefuel#swimbikeruneat #triathlon #triathlete #tri#swimbikerun #minicinnis
On Sunday, the athletes toed the line for Sprint Nationals with Kirsten Sass (McKenzie, Tenn.) and Christopher Douglas (Atlanta, Ga.) earning gold medals for being the overall female and male champions, respectively. Sass finished with a time of 1:07:16 while Douglas crossed with a time of 59:21.

IRONMAN 70.3 Wiesbaden
Germany hosted the half IRONMAN race in Wiesbaden this weekend with home countryman Andreas Dreitz taking top honors with a time of 3:59:05. The top American male finish came from Rodolphe von Berg, who crossed the line in 4:06:45.
Still no sign of an in-action pic, but yesterday I finished 6th in the highest level 70.3 Half ironman in Europe#im703wiesbaden, behind and in front of big names like Lionel Sanders, Boris Stein and Andreas Dreitz. I was the youngest guy in the top20 which is encouraging too. After pushing the start of the bike I controlled the last 20km in order to get in my best half marathon time ever in 1h12'40". Very happy with the result- now it's time to fly back to the US 👍🏿

Evidence I need to work on my Spanish...I asked for more blankets and they pointed to the air-conditioner and took the blankets we had.
