Parking and Shuttle Information for All Athletes, Spectators and Volunteers 

Before Race Days: From Wednesday, Aug. 7 through Friday, Aug. 9, parking will be available for free, on-site at Edgewater Park. Limited shuttle service will be available only on Friday, Aug. 9 from 3-7 p.m from the Hilton Cleveland Downtown. Upon entering Edgewater Park, please follow the direction of Metroparks and USAT parking staff.

On Race Days, Before and During Racing: The following information is meant to give athletes, spectators and volunteers a general overview of the parking and shuttle options during racing on Saturday, Aug. 10 and Sunday, Aug. 11. Athletes should expect to receive detailed information by email close to event week.

On Race Days, After Racing has Completed: After racing has completed on Saturday and Sunday, free parking will be available and open to all at the race venue. Upon entering Edgewater Park, please follow the direction of Metroparks and USAT parking staff.

There are three options for athlete & spectator parking and shuttle transport. Please click on the below options for further details on each. For all options, please allow for extra time when planning your race morning schedule.

Paid Parking On-Site at Edgewater Park

All passes are SOLD OUT. No more passes will be released.

Parking passes will be mailed out in mid-July to all persons to the address used in your race registration. Each person will be responsible for bringing this pass to the event and displaying it each morning as they enter Edgewater Park. Additionally, access to on-site parking will be cut off at 6 a.m. each morning and athletes will not be able to leave the on-site parking lot until bike course racing is complete – 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. Please view the on-site parking map at the bottom of this page for directions on entering Edgewater Park.

If you do not receive your parking pass before you begin travels to Cleveland, please find a USAT staff member in the registration tent when you pickup your packet in the days before your race. VIP Hospitality Package holders will receive their passes at packet pickup.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you plan to arrive after 6 a.m. either day or must leave before 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 or 11:30 a.m. on Aug 11, please do not utilize your parking pass. As the bike course utilizes the entrance and exit to Edgewater Park, no vehicles will be able to enter or exit during these times while athletes are on the course. Vehicles that arrive after 6 a.m. either day OR arrive at the venue without a parking pass will be directed to the free shuttle parking at FirstEnergy Stadium and not admitted to Edgewater Park.

After racing has concluded on Saturday and Sunday, parking at Edgewater Park will be free and open to everybody.

Toyota Owners: As the title partner of this event, Toyota is pleased to offer athletes with Toyota vehicles preferred, front row parking. The first 20 Toyota vehicles will be directed to the front row for easy access to the venue. Make sure to drive your Toyota onsite to show your support and have the chance to park in this exclusive area. 

Any person who does not having a valid parking pass will not be admitted to Edgewater to park. Lost or missing passes cannot be replaced.

Overnight parking is prohibited at Edgewater Park. Vehicles left overnight will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense.

Free Parking at Northcoast Harbor Lot at FirstEnergy Stadium with Shuttle Transport

Free parking and accompanying shuttle transport to Edgewater Park is available for all athletes and spectators from the Northcoast Harbor lot on the north side of FirstEnergy Stadium (see map). Persons will enter the parking lot via the entrance booth and park anywhere within the parking grid. Persons can then proceed to the shuttle buses for transport to Edgewater Park.

The Northcoast Harbor Lot is located at 515 Erieside Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44114. This lot will open at 4 a.m. on race mornings.

If the Northcoast Harbor Lot should fill to capacity, overflow parking will be available in the West 3rd St. Lot (see map). Persons will then need to walk to the Northcoast Lot for transport to Edgewater Park via shuttle bus.

On the return trip to the parking lots, shuttle buses will bring persons back to the same point they were picked up from.

Shuttles will run during the following times:

  • Thursday and Friday: None
  • Saturday: 4:15 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 4:15 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Please note: No bikes are permitted on shuttle buses. Please allow for extra time for transport to the venue when you are planning your race morning schedule.

Free Downtown Hotel Shuttle Transport

Shuttle transport to Edgewater Park will be available for persons staying in any downtown hotels with the ability to walk to the pickup point. The pickup point is adjacent to the Hilton Downtown Cleveland. Please note that parking at this shuttle location will not be available in the immediate vicinity. There are parking garages in the area that can be utilized at your own expense.

Shuttle buses will be staged along West Mall Dr., directly adjacent to the Hilton Downtown Cleveland hotel (see map). Buses will transport athletes to Edgewater Park for drop off, and athletes will be transported back to the same location on the return trip. 

Shuttles will run during the following times:

  • Thursday: None
  • Friday: 3:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 4:15 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 4:15 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Please note: No bikes are allowed on shuttle buses. Please allow for extra time for transport to the venue when you are planning your race morning schedule.

Shuttle Drop/Pickup at Edgewater Park

For all shuttle operations originating from any point, all drop-offs and pick-ups will be located at one location outside of Edgewater Park (see interactive Google map below). The drop off/pick up point will be located next to the intersection of W. 65th St. & Father Caruso Dr. For access to Edgewater Park, persons will need to proceed through the W. 65th St. Pedestrian Tunnel that leads directly to the heart of Edgewater Park. Total walking time from the drop point to Edgewater is approximately 8 minutes.

Other Transportation Options

Uber, Taxi Cab, Friend or Family Drop-Off

If you are planning to take a rideshare service to the event or be dropped off by a friend or family member, please utilize this suggested drop-off & pick-up location during road closure times. Please note that the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway (Ohio Route 2) will be closed during the below times: 

  • Saturday, Aug. 10: 4:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Aug. 11: 4:30 a.m -11:30 a.m.

Suggested drop/pick up point: Terrestrial Brewing, directly across Cleveland Memorial Shoreway from Edgewater Park

Upon arriving at this drop location, you can proceed to Edgewater via the West 73rd St. Pedestrian Tunnel, located adjacent to Terrestrial Brewing.

Bike Share - UHBikes

Cleveland's bike share program, UHBikes, is a fun, healty, and inexpensive way to get around Cleveland by bike. Spectators and non-competing athletes are encouraged to take advantage of a special discount that can be used anytime during your trip to Cleveland. A UHBikes corral will be located at Edgewater Park during the event.

Cleveland RTA Light Rail Line

The Red Line operates from Downtown Cleveland to a drop-off point near Edgewater Park. The closest stop is located at the West Blvd and Cudell intersection which is a 0.8 mile walk from the venue. Please click here for Red Line time information (see weekend section on second page). Volunteer Parking

Volunteer parking and accompanying shuttle transport will be available in the Nautica Lots G/H (see map below) for all volunteers working Age Group National Championships. Once parked, volunteers can then proceed to the shuttle buses for transport to Edgewater Park. On the return trip following the completion of your shift, shuttle buses will return you to the same location within the Nautical Lots G/H.

The Nautica Lots G/H are located at: 1245 Hemlock Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113.
