As the National Governing Body for triathlon in the U.S., USA Triathlon is responsible for providing all triathletes and athletes competing in other multisport disciplines with the resources needed to succeed in the sport. Through a number of grant programs, USA Triathlon helps individuals and clubs achieve new heights in specialized areas like military programming, NCAA Emerging Sport of Women programs, duathlon, paratriathlon, youth & junior development and the Olympic pipeline. High Performance Team Grant Program

The purpose of this grant program is to promote the formation of development teams for youth and junior athletes focused on draft-legal racing. The program began in 2008 and has supported nearly 50 teams across the country and has been instrumental in identifying and developing world champion junior athletes. USA Triathlon Foundation Grant Program

The USA Triathlon Foundation grant program accepts applications annually for individuals, clubs, teams and organizations to support and promote the sport of triathlon. Grant awardees must fall within at least one of the Foundation's three focus areas; providing support to youth, paratriathletes and/or Olympic hopefuls. Grants are available up to $5,000 and the application period is held at the beginning of each calendar year. Click here to learn more.

USA Triathlon Foundation Duathlon Grant Program 

The USA Triathlon Foundation grant program accepts applications annually for individuals, clubs, teams and organizations to support and promote the sport of duathlon. Grant awardees must fall within at least one of the Foundation's three focus areas; providing support to youth, paraduathletes, and/or high performance junior and elite duathletes. USA Triathlon Sharing the Win Paratriathlon Military Grant

USA Paratriathlon has been awarded grant funding since 2013, provided by Veterans Affairs. The program has received more than $250,000 to date and aims to provide appropriate opportunities for all, whether it be to simply learn the requisite skills to swim, bike and run safely for recreation or to train and compete at an elite level with an objective to represent the U.S. at the Paralympic Games. USA Triathlon Foundation Women's Emerging Sport Grant 

NCAA member institutions are eligible to apply for a share of USA Triathlon's $3.5 million grant support. Funds help establish, grow and sustain an NCAA varsity women's triathlon program. Click here to learn more.
