Spirit of Judy Flannery Award

The USA Triathlon Women's Committee is now accepting nominations for the Spirit of Judy Flannery Award. The award was established in 1997 in honor of Judy Flannery. Flannery, a Grand Masters multisport athlete, served as the first Women's Commission chair and was killed in a bike accident. This award honored Judy and her contribution to the sport. 
 
Nominees should best represent those special qualities of Judy Flannery, among them: 

  • Excellence in multisport
  • High Moral Charactor
  • Demonstration of "giving back" to the sport
  • Current female member in good standing of USA Triathlon, a preference will be noted for nominees in the Masters or Grand Masters division.
