Professional affiliations: Over 30 years of strategy, marketing and leadership experience in consumer-oriented retail, restaurants, manufacturing and advisory organizations, including Morgan Stanley, McKinsey & Company, Target, Avon, PepsiCo, Burger King, Mattel and ConAgra Foods. 

Years involved in multisport: Lifetime swimmer, runner, cyclist and skier; first marathon in 1982; first triathlon in 1993

Your Role with USA Triathlon: Interim President of the USA Triathlon Board of Directors. I serve on the Compensation, International Relations and Marketing Committees, and was a member of the CEO Search Committee. Elected Independent Board Member in 2013. In 2014, selected to represent the USAT Board as a Trustee for the newly formed USA Triathlon Foundation. Elected 1st President of the Foundation Board of Trustees, serving from 2014-2018. Elected Vice President of the USAT Board of Directors in 2018.

What drove you to the multisport lifestyle? The challenge and fun of three-sports-in-one...and the secondary benefit of knee preservation! 

Athletic accomplishments: Co-founder of the Stanford Women's Water Polo team in 1977 (national champions '77 and ’78); Cycled from Lake Tahoe to Bend, Ore. along the Sierra Crest. Completed the New York and Boston Marathons; and Mission Viejo Triathlon (1993). Captain of Miami Women's Premier Soccer League team. Qualified for Team USA at Duathlon National Championships in 2016. Otherwise … just a happy swimmer, mountain biker and runner ... encouraging others to join the fun!
